Show Organizers Announce Education Program Planned for Vision Expo West 2021 in Las Vegas

Alexandria, VA – July 30, 2021 – The Vision Council and RX, organizers of Vision Expo, today announce the education program curated by the Conference Advisory Board for Vision Expo West 2021, taking place Sept. 22–25 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Show’s educational program, together with OptiCon®@Vision Expo, will open Wednesday, Sept. 22 and the Exhibit Hall will open Thursday, Sept. 23. To register for Vision Expo West, click here.

Presented under the banner of VisionEd, Vision Expo’s education program will include seminars, workshops and interactive presentations led by renowned experts in clinical research, business, fashion and marketing.

Attendees will have access to 190 hours of education, ranging from the latest business strategies and fashion trends to patient education tactics and cutting-edge innovations. Key content areas include: glaucoma, posterior segment/retina, anterior segment/dry eye, surgical/co-management, and systemic disease and diabetes.

On Wednesday Sept. 22, the Battle at the Sands competition will showcase interesting cases highlighting imaging technology as panelists compete for the audience’s votes. This unique contest will engage attendees through interactive polling technology.

This year’s Show will feature content focused on brand and business differentiation to enable attendees to explore services, technology and innovative products that can improve customer experience. Through the Innovation Series, attendees can learn about the latest trends in 3D printing, technology eyewear and digital measuring. Additionally, the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, regarded as an unequaled partner in the journey to refine and innovate service excellence and customer engagement, will host a course on brand differentiating service and the services that improve customer experience.

Furthermore, dedicated Low Vision courses will share the latest on how technology and innovative products can improve patients’ quality of life. From lens technology to artificial intelligence, attendees will learn how low vision care has the potential to differentiate practices, build loyalty and increase word-of-mouth referrals.

Vision Expo West will also host the Global Contact Lens Forum, which provides attendees with practical, timely tips in both clinical and business processes to help take their specialty contact lens practice to the next level. On Wednesday, Sept. 22, a panel of respected, highly successful contact lens practitioners will provide personal insights gleaned from their roadmap to success. This will be followed by grand rounds case presentations highlighting key problem-solving strategies in specialty contact lens practice.
