ORLANDO, February 10, 2025— Members of The Vision Council and leading brands in the optical industry are set to debut new products, host exclusive events, and take the stage for dynamic sessions at Vision Expo East 2025 taking place Feb. 19-22 in Orlando, Florida. With such a broad array of technology, education, fashion, and healthcare innovation on display, The Vision Council—co-host of Vision Expo—has identified four “Can’t Miss” categories that include launches, appearances, insights and more.

#1. The Latest in Frames Fashion

Millions of eyeglasses frames are sold every year, and the eyewear on display at Vision Expo East sets the tone for the fashion, fit, and style consumers will be wearing in the months ahead. Several companies will show off the latest eyewear fashions:

  • Modern Optical International will introduce its exclusive Specialty Fit Eyewear Portfolio. Informed by data from The Vision Council’s inSights Research, the line caters to the unique needs of patients with diverse sizes, and helps consumers and opticians overcome recurring issues regarding fit.
  • Silhouette will showcase its latest collection, Clear Sky, crafted using SPX Green+, a groundbreaking bio-circular material made from organic waste, which replaces fossil oil and reduces carbon emissions by 60%.
  • The OTC Showcase will feature trending products across several direct-to-consumer brands including FGX International, Setex Technologies, and Peepers.
  • The Flaunt the Frame Eyewear Trends Show will feature selections from the 2025 NOW Trend Showcase, themed around sensorial design, innovation, nostalgic looks and sustainability.

#3. Advancements in Business Management

Whether it’s having conversations with long-time friends or building new relationships with peers from across the country and around the world, there’s no better place to elevate eye care business acumen than at Vision Expo East:

#4. Invaluable Industry Perspectives

For professionals looking for new information and insights that help them chart a course for success in their careers and businesses, Vision Expo East is putting several industry experts front and center.

  • Caroline Casey, President of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), will present an inspirational session titled, Changing How Everyone, Everywhere Sees.
  • A group of four highly respected clinicians and researchers will go deep on one of the hottest topics in eye health—myopia control—in a three-course series as part of a packed education agenda.
  • The Vision Council will host an All-Member Meeting and highlight findings from its most recent research reports, commenting on data and trends that are underpinning how vision-related manufacturing, sales, care, and other aspects of the industry will move forward in 2025 and beyond.
