Show Organizers Extend Deadline to Participate in NOW by Vision Expo to Thursday, March 10

Alexandria, VA – Feb. 28, 2022 – The Vision Council and RX, the organizers of Vision Expo, today announce that the deadline for eyewear exhibitors to submit products for consideration in NOW by Vision Expo, the new eyewear trends showcase that will debut at Vision Expo East 2022, has been extended to Thursday, March 10.

“We are pleased to extend the submission deadline to accommodate the increased interest we’ve received in the project,” said Fran Pennella, Vice President, Vision Expo, at RX. “Additionally, in the spirit of celebrating the full scope of the industry’s trends, exhibitors are no longer limited to one frame per company, but can now submit one frame per brand.”

All eyewear exhibitors are invited to submit one frame per brand, optical or sunglasses, that they feel best represents one of the themes for this year’s show.

All submissions that align with the 2022 trends will be included in the showcase, which include:

  • Sustainability
  • Fashion Post-Pandemic: Statement Pieces/Larger than Life
  • Diversity and Inclusion through Eyewear
  • Craftsmanship + Technology and Innovations through Details

There is no cost associated with participating in NOW by Vision Expo.

For its inaugural launch, NOW by Vision Expo will showcase curated selections of eyewear that embody the industry’s most vibrant trends. The intent of the program is to expand beyond eyewear at future Shows to also showcase products, technology and equipment.

Vision Expo East 2022 will take place at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City from March 31–April 3, 2022. The Show’s educational program, together with OptiCon®@Vision Expo, will open Thursday, March 31 and the Exhibit Hall will open Friday, April 1. To register, click here.
