Report Methodology

The data in this report is derived from the same survey behind the Consumer inSights Q1 2025 report. This survey is fielded through a third-party consumer sample provider and captured 12,002 completed responses between January 8 and March 12, 2025. Key methodological details include:

  • Online survey of U.S. adults age 18+ using a representative consumer panel
  • 4,000 completed surveys collected per month
  • Margin of error < ±1% for overall results; larger for subgroups

Why It Matters

It is intended to supplement the main report, providing detailed demographic information for those who want to dig into differences between groups for consumer behavior related to eyeglasses, lenses, and frames.
