The Vision Council In the News: Vision Health Alliance Featured in Las Vegas HEALS

The Vision Council’s consumer initiative, Vision Health Alliance, was recently featured in Las Vegas HEALS for their efforts providing valuable resources to local Southern Nevada schools during Vision Expo West 2021. In partnership with EyeCare4Kids™, a nonprofit dedicated to providing professional eyecare to low-income, visually- impaired children and underserved families, and the Southern Nevada Optometric Society, Vision Health Alliance conducted a mobile eyecare clinic at a local, Las Vegas-area elementary school to provide free vision screenings and eye exams to dozens of children.

Vision Health Alliance also provided 600 eyecare kits for glasses and contact lens emergencies. The kits have been donated and distributed to the EyeCare4Kids provider network across Nevada.
