Small Business Administration to Reopen the Paycheck Protection Program

After receiving Congressional approval and with the President's signature, H.R. 266 will reopen the shuttered Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Members who qualify for funding from this program and did not receive funding through the initial funding should examine the benefits of the program, here.

This legislation along with the Health Care Enhancement Act will provide an additional $310 billion to restart the PPP to keep workers on payroll while businesses are closed due to the pandemic.

The Vision Council will continue to monitor any legislation put forth by U.S. lawmakers to provide members with any further updates. Please contact Chris Rorick, MPA, Senior Policy Advisor, Bryan Cave, LLP, for more information.
