Earlier this year, The Vision Council and Think About Your Eyes commissioned a national in-depth quantitative research study on consumer attitudes and behaviors related to the vision industry. We surveyed 1,200 people across the U.S., and among other things we identified four audience segments to aid the industry's targeting and message development. We also conducted a statistical driver analysis to understand what influences likelihood to get an eye exam and purchase eyewear products.

Members are invited to attend the webinar—hosted by The Vision Council and RP3, the research team behind the study—to learn best practices for consumer and patient outreach for the coming years based on the findings of the research. The webinar will take place on Dec. 3, 2019, at 1 p.m. EST. Topics will include background and methodology, analysis of consumer profiles, eye exam findings, eyewear purchase findings and customer journey findings, along with a dedicated question and answer portion.
