Focused inSights 2024: Online vs In-Person Purchase Patterns - Narrative Summary

Focused inSightsThis report is based on data collected between January 2022 and December 2024, among a nationally representative online sample of over 120,000 U.S. adults. The report highlights the trends and differences between those who made purchases of eyeglasses, contact lenses, plano sunglasses, and reading glasses online compared to shopping in-person at a physical retail location. A section of the report is dedicated to the behaviors and preferences of "channel switchers," consumers who shifted their glasses purchasing behavior from online to in-person or vice versa. This five-page narrative summary presents highlights from the study.
