Reminder: Join the Made in the USA Working Group

Dear Members,

We hope this email finds you well.

Last November, The Vision Council’s Government and Regulatory Affairs team held an open call for all members to participate in a discussion on Made in the USA labeling requirements and to better understand their business expansion challenges.

A summary of that call can be found here. For an overview of Made in the USA and Country of Origin requirements, click here and download the document under “Made in the U.S.A. vs. Country of Origin Comparison”.

On that call was an invitation to join a working group focused on supplementing advocacy efforts by providing members of Congress firsthand experiences of our member businesses in order to illustrate the need for changes.

We’re writing to formally extend that invitation to you. The working group will focus on discussing issues related to “Made in USA” labeling laws and on-shoring production, among other things, by bringing together industry professionals and other stakeholders. Our goal is to provide a platform for open dialogue, exchange ideas and best practices, and collaborate on finding solutions to the challenges we face.

As a member of this working group, you will have the opportunity to participate in regular meetings, contribute to discussions and share your expertise. We believe your experience and insights will be invaluable to the group, and we look forward to your contribution.

If you’re interested in participating in the working group, please contact Omar Elkhatib, Sr. Manager, Government Relations, at oelkhatib@thevisioncouncil.org.

Best,

Ashley Mills
