Eyecessorize Releases Spring/Summer 2019 Trend Kit

Eyecessorize Releases Spring/Summer 2019 Trend Kit

03/05/2019

The Vision Council's Eyecessorize campaign—which promotes the fashion and lifestyle aspects of eyewear and sunwear—is pleased to announce the release of its spring/summer 2019 trend kit.

The Vision Council distributed the digital, interactive trend kit to approximately 300 fashion, health and lifestyle editors nationwide from top-tier outlets such as Allure, Glamour, New York Post, GQ, Marie Claire, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle, People, Refinery29.com and Wall Street Journal, among many others

The contents of the trend kit focus on trends interpreted from styles seen on fashion runways, while spotlighting products from 85 members of The Vision Council's Eyewear & Accessories (E&A) and Sunglass & Reader (SRD) Divisions as well as a selection of non-member exhibitors of Vision Expo. Curated by The Vision Council's team, the trends include: Creative Upheaval flaunting exaggerated silhouettes with neon hues and bold details, Eclectic + Evolved showcasing futuristic shapes complemented by edgy accents, and Universal Connection highlighting global and retro influences with a distinctly natural feel.

The online booklet prominently features a breadth of optical and sunwear product imagery for men and women alike, as well as trend descriptions. With the digital and interactive format, editors are able to quickly and easily access the materials with the capability to download hi-res versions of the frames. Additionally, the trend kit encourages editors to reach out for more eye health information regarding ultraviolet (UV) eye protection, digital eye strain and annual eye exams, as well as to arrange an interview with The Vision Council's spokespeople.

While The Vision Council actively pitches and responds to consumer media requests throughout the year, it also participates in web-based outreach by highlighting products from members on Eyecessorize.com, which houses the Eyecessorize Blog, and various social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

The Eyecessorize team would like to thank all those who participated in this season's trend kit and for their continued support of the campaign. To view a list of participating members, click here. Please keep me informed about new product releases, celebrity sighting and more to continue to take advantage of all Eyecessorize has to offer.

For members who did not participate in the kit or have not been actively partaking in the campaign, please reach out to learn about how to make the most out of your membership at The Vision Council.

In turn, I will continue to send my PR contacts from all E&A and SRD members updates regarding media requests, future events and outreach opportunities as they become available. Please don't hesitate to contact me, in the meantime, if you have any questions about the trend kit or the Eyecessorize campaign in general.

Best,
