The Vision Council is a non-profit trade association that represents a large core of members in diverse segments of the optical industry, from family-owned businesses to global companies. Membership is available to any person, firm or corporation whose primary business is the manufacturing or distribution of optical products and/or services. The Vision Council offers a wide variety of resources and tools for our members from market research to training to networking events.

In addition, by sharing the latest in eyewear trends, advances in technology and advice from eyewear experts, the organization serves as a resource to the public looking to learn more about eyewear options.

  • National Sunglasses Day 2019

    The Vision Council is proud to announce another successful celebration of National Sunglasses Day. Due to its efforts, The Vision Council garnered more than 1.2 billion online, social media and broadcast consumer media impressions, surpassing last year's total impression numbers for the commemorative date.
