PogoCam: Where Eyewear Meets Camera Technology
The future of wearable technology is looking good thanks to new fashionable frames equipped with PogoCam technology. Optical manufacturers including ClearVision Optical, FGX International, Argus Vision and Vista Eyewear have outfitted new stylish optical and sunglass frames with the PogoTrack wearable technology platform, which allows for the world's smallest wearable camera from PogoTec to attach to the frame temples.
Right out of the box, the camera allows the wearer to effortlessly capture memories without the obstruction of a smartphone screen or camera viewfinder. The camera has the ability to take 100 photos or two minutes of continuous video, and can be recharged for use over and over. Weighing less than two dimes, the wearer will hardly know the camera is there, though with easy-to-use magnetic mounting, the camera can be removed from the frames.
In the future, PogoTec believes wearable technology like their PogoCam will have the potential to perform such tasks as alertness monitoring to prevent drivers from falling asleep, and notifying the user of damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun that they may otherwise not be mindful of. But for right now, it'll give you a sleek edge on the technology and fashion fronts. For more information, check out PogoTec.com.
